EXOCOAT^TM 151A is a doped Nano-Titanium oxide with a strong self-cleaning performance.

Description and Application:

EXOCOAT^TM 151A is a photocatalytic nano titanium oxide which renders substrates into self-cleaning walls. The photocatalytic effect results in effective radical formation which breaks down organic matter like dirt and soil. Airborne particles like VOCs, NOx and bio pollution are also eradicated by EXOCOAT 151A. It can be used as general air purifier.

EXOCOAT^TM 151A coated walls are super-hydrophilic enhancing the water-sheeting, also called wash off effect. EXOCOAT^TM 151A has a very low activation barrier and will function under visible light. Important is that EXOCOAT^TM 151A is used as topcoat to ensure its full effect.  Its effectivity is based on radical eradication of all organic components as well as NOx.

EXOCOAT^TM 151A may be used on flat surfaces such as glass or mineral substrates outdoors. Indoors walls, painted surfaces and plastics may be coated with EXOCOAT^TM 151A. Spray application is recommended to reach, thin monolayers which proof to be more effective.
