EXOCOAT^TM 151B is a doped Nano Titanium oxide with a strong self-cleaning performance.

Description and Application:

EXOCOAT^TM 151B is a photocatalytic nano titanium oxide which renders substrates into air purifying and self-cleaning walls. The photocatalytic effect results in effective radical formation which breaks down airborne organic matter like NOx, VOC and bio pollution. It can be used as general air purifier.

Upon activation by light EXOCOAT^TM 151B coated walls transform super-hydrophilic enhancing the water-sheeting, also called wash off effect.

EXOCOAT^TM 151B has a very low activation barrier and will activate under visible light.

Important is that EXOCOAT^TM 151B is used as topcoat to ensure its full effect.  Its effectivity is based on radical eradication of all organic components as well as NOx.

EXOCOAT^TM 151B may be used on porous substrates, like concrete and wood. Spray application is recommended to reach, thin monolayers which proof to be more effective.
