EXOCOATTM AM is a doped Nano Titanium oxide with a strong antimicrobial effect.

Description and Application:

EXOCOATTM AM is a photocatalytic nano titanium targeted to render substrates into antiviral and antibacterial surfaces. The system is known to prevent the build-up of microbes as the photocatalytic effect results in effective radical formation which breaks down viruses and bacteria. Tested according to international norms. Viruses as Influenza, SARS-COV-2, Dengue and Hepatitis will be eradicated immediately upon landing on an EXOCOATTM AM coated surface. Also, bacteria as E. Coli, MSRA, Streptococcus, Pneumonia and Salmonella will be eradicated by this coating.  EXOCOATTM AM is activated by light. The light source maybe artificial, indoor or outside day light.

Important is that EXOCOATTM AM is used as topcoat to ensure its full effect.  Indoors EXOCOATTM AM can be used on any surface. Spray application is recommended to reach, thin monolayers which proof to be more effective.

Features:

• Quick drying under room temperature

• Full cure:

  • Under UV light (0.5-1mW for 1 week curing or 2mW 48 hours or 40-50mW for 30 mins)

  • Or heat treatment 400oC for 5 minutes maximum

• Superhard particles (1GPa Vickers)
